Amazon Associates

SpecPicks.com is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases.

Depending on the content type, Amazon links on SpecPicks may carry one of the following associate tags:

SpecPicks is a member of the eBay Partner Network. When you click an eBay link on this site and complete a qualifying purchase, we may earn a commission. eBay links are marked with our campaign identifier in the URL.

Other affiliate relationships

From time to time SpecPicks may link to merchants through additional affiliate programs (Newegg, B&H Photo, GameStop, retro-specialist retailers). These links follow the same rules: commission at no extra cost to you, and the relationship is disclosed.

No extra cost to you

Affiliate links never change the price you pay. Commissions are paid by the retailer out of their margin, not added to your order.

What "sponsored" means on SpecPicks

Outbound affiliate links carry the HTML attributes rel="noopener noreferrer sponsored nofollow" so search engines and browsers know the link is commercial. We do not accept paid-for-placement on category pages or buying guides — rankings are determined by our published scoring algorithm.

Sponsored content

If an article is sponsored, paid, or gifted, we will mark it prominently at the top of the page with a "Sponsored" badge. Without that badge, assume we bought or tested the product ourselves or ranked it algorithmically from the public catalog.
