2. What SpecPicks is

SpecPicks is an editorial product-research site. We aggregate public product data from retailers (Amazon, eBay, and others), enrich it with specifications and ratings, and publish buying guides. We are not a retailer. When you buy a product after clicking a link from our site, you buy it from the retailer on their terms.

3. Accuracy

We make our best effort to keep prices, availability, and specifications accurate, but product data changes constantly. Always verify the final price and stock on the retailer's page before buying. SpecPicks is not liable for retailer mistakes, price changes, or stock-outs.

4. Affiliate relationships

We earn commissions from qualifying purchases. See our Affiliate Disclosure for the full list.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Scrape, mirror, or republish SpecPicks content without written permission
• Probe, attack, or attempt to disrupt the service
• Impersonate SpecPicks or its staff
• Use the site for any unlawful purpose

6. User-generated content

SpecPicks does not currently offer user reviews, public comments, or other public user-submission features. This section applies only to SpecPicks features that accept user submissions, when and if such features are made available. Should such a feature be added in the future: if you submit reviews, comments, or feedback, you grant SpecPicks a worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and display that content in connection with the site. You retain copyright. Don't submit content you don't own.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The site is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We make no guarantee that a product we recommend is right for your use case, will work with your existing setup, or is still in production.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SpecPicks and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site, including lost profits or lost data. Our total liability for any direct damages is capped at USD $100.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify SpecPicks against any claims arising from your misuse of the site or violation of these terms.

10. Third-party trademarks

Amazon, eBay, Newegg, and all product brand names mentioned are trademarks of their respective owners. SpecPicks is not affiliated with or endorsed by those brands except where explicitly stated.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

12. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced on the homepage or newsletter. Continued use of the site after the "last updated" date constitutes acceptance.
