SpecPicks Verdict

SpecPicks scored BUSOHE Cat 8 Ethernet Cable 25 FT using a rating × review-volume × price-fit model applied to published specs and reviews across the networking category. BUSOHE's networking lineup sits within the broader category mid-tier; price and specs are the deciding factors over brand loyalty here. Judge it on the specification table and the price rather than on sentiment: check the figures that decide your use case, then put it side-by-side with two or three close alternatives in the Compare tool before clicking through.

Common buyer scenarios for networking of this kind: matching it to an existing build, replacing a failing part, or upgrading from a previous-generation equivalent. Check the spec table below against your current setup — particularly socket / form-factor / power-rating fields — and confirm compatibility on the retailer's listing before purchase. Frequently Asked Questions

Will this Cat 8 cable actually make my internet faster?

It removes the cable as a bottleneck, not your service plan. It supports up to 40Gbps and 2000MHz, so it will carry whatever your router and ISP deliver, plus full-speed local transfers between computers and a NAS.

Does it work with my older router and Cat6 equipment?

Yes. It is backward compatible with Cat5, Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6a, and Cat7, and fits any standard RJ45 port on routers, switches, servers, laptops, and consoles.

Can I run this cable outside or through a wall?

The thickened PVC shell is UV-resistant, abrasion-resistant, and weather-resistant, and BUSOHE lists it for indoor and outdoor use. The flat shape suits surface runs under carpet or along corners rather than round conduit.

What comes in the box besides the cable?

The 25 ft flat Cat 8 cable ships with 15 cable clips for securing the run along walls, baseboards, or trim. Check the product listing for current warranty terms.

Is the flat design as reliable as a round cable?

It uses four pairs of multi-stranded pure copper conductors with S/FTP aluminum foil shielding and gold-plated RJ45 connectors. The flat jacket is flexible and rated to withstand large pulling force.
