Pros & Cons

Pros

  • ✓ 3TB capacity adds roughly 60-plus modern PS4 games without opening the console
  • ✓ Pre-formatted for PS4 file system - plug in and go, no PC setup step
  • ✓ Works across PS4 Original, Slim, and Pro from the same drive
  • ✓ 7200RPM enterprise-class internal HDD, not a slower laptop-grade mechanism

Cons

  • ✗ Renewed unit, not new - internal drive is refurbished rather than factory-fresh
  • ✗ USB 3.0 mechanical HDD loads slower than an internal SSD upgrade
  • ✗ PS4-formatted out of the box, so PC or Xbox use means reformatting
  • ✗ Sold under Amazon Renewed, so warranty terms differ from Avolusion retail units
