Manufacturer description

The HANYCONY 15 ft flat-plug extension cord solves the two problems that make most power strips useless behind furniture: a bulky plug and a cord that stops three feet short. Its 0.35-inch ultra-thin plug sits nearly flush against the wall with a 45-degree angled design that leaves the lower wall outlet free, so a sofa or wardrobe can push right up against it. The 15-foot heavy-duty cable reaches corners a standard 6-foot strip can't. The three-sided housing carries 8 AC outlets plus 4 USB ports (2 USB-C, 2 USB-A, 5V/3.1A total) for 12 devices at once, and the 2.2-inch outlet spacing is wide…

SpecPicks Verdict

SpecPicks scored HANYCONY 15 Ft Long Extension Cord with Ultra-Thin Flat Plug using a rating × review-volume × price-fit model applied to published specs and reviews across the home & kitchen category. HANYCONY's home & kitchen lineup sits within the broader category mid-tier; price and specs are the deciding factors over brand loyalty here. Frequently Asked Questions

Will the flat plug actually fit behind a sofa?

Yes. The plug is 0.35 inches thick with a 45-degree angled body, so furniture can sit nearly flush against the wall. The angle also leaves the lower wall outlet free to use.

Can I charge a laptop from the USB-C ports?

The 4 USB ports share a total 5V/3.1A output, which is phone- and tablet-class charging. There is no Power Delivery spec listed, so plug a laptop into one of the 8 AC outlets and use its own charger.

How many devices can it power at once?

Twelve: 8 AC outlets across a three-sided housing plus 4 USB ports (2 USB-C, 2 USB-A). The 2.2-inch spacing means large adapters won't block adjacent outlets.

Is it safe to leave plugged in all the time?

It is ETL and RoHS certified with 1080 joules of surge protection, an integrated circuit breaker for overload shut-off, and a 1382-degree-F flame-retardant PC shell. A lighted ON/OFF switch shows power state at a glance.

Can it be mounted on a wall?

Yes, it is designed for wall mounting to get it off the floor, which suits dorm desks and home-office setups. Check the product listing for included mounting hardware and current warranty terms.
