Manufacturer description
Included is only the console, no wires or controllers. The white power button cap is missing and you need to hold it down to stay powered on (the system turns off if not constantly pressed down). So you will need to find a replacement power button cap and power button switch. As mentioned it does turn on when the button is continuously pressed in and it plays games fine. There is overall wear and could use a proper clean-up. See photos for more details. Message me with any questions because I wont be accepting returns. Thanks for looking
SpecPicks Verdict
SpecPicks scored Sega Dreamcast Console ONLY Tested Works using a rating × review-volume × price-fit model applied to published specs and reviews across the retro consoles category. Sega's retro consoles lineup sits within the broader category mid-tier; price and specs are the deciding factors over brand loyalty here. Judge it on the specification table and the price rather than on sentiment: check the figures that decide your use case, then put it side-by-side with two or three close alternatives in the Compare tool before clicking through.
Common buyer scenarios for retro consoles of this kind: matching it to an existing build, replacing a failing part, or upgrading from a previous-generation equivalent. Check the spec table below against your current setup — particularly socket / form-factor / power-rating fields — and confirm compatibility on the retailer's listing before purchase. Prices and stock are set by the retailer and may have moved since this page was last updated.
