Manufacturer description

The EPOMAKER Aula F99 MAX is a 97-key wireless mechanical keyboard. It keeps the numpad but takes up less desk space than a full-size board, and it is built for typing feel. A gasket-mount design sits on five extra layers of IXPE, foam, silicone and PET between the plate, PCB and case. The padding cuts hollow case noise and leaves a deep, muted thock on each keystroke. The keyboard ships with pre-lubed Reaper linear switches under PBT keycaps. The sockets are hot-swappable for both 3-pin and 5-pin switches, so you can try tactile or quiet switches using the included tool. In the center sits…

SpecPicks Verdict

SpecPicks scored EPOMAKER Aula F99 MAX Wireless Mechanical Keyboard using a rating × review-volume × price-fit model applied to published specs and reviews across the gaming peripherals category. EPOMAKER's gaming peripherals lineup sits within the broader category mid-tier; price and specs are the deciding factors over brand loyalty here. Judge it on the specification table and the price rather than on sentiment: check the figures that decide your use case, then put it side-by-side with two or three close alternatives in the Compare tool before clicking through.

Common buyer scenarios for gaming peripherals of this kind: matching it to an existing build, replacing a failing part, or upgrading from a previous-generation equivalent. Frequently Asked Questions

Does the EPOMAKER Aula F99 MAX work with Mac?

Yes. The keyboard works with Windows and macOS over 2.4GHz, Bluetooth or a wired connection. The customization software runs on Windows PCs only, though.

How long does the F99 MAX battery last?

It has an 8000mAh battery that EPOMAKER rates for hundreds of hours of wireless use. Turning off the screen (FN+Backspace) or lowering the backlight extends runtime. You can also keep typing while it charges over the cable.

What switches come in the F99 MAX, and can I change them?

It ships with pre-lubed Reaper linear switches. The board is hot-swappable for 3-pin and 5-pin mechanical switches, and a switch puller is included, so you can fit tactile, linear or quiet switches without soldering.

What can the screen and knob do?

The TFT screen can show the time, the battery level or a custom GIF. The knob controls volume by default. Press FN+Knob to switch it to backlight control. FN+T toggles between 12-hour and 24-hour time, and you can sync the clock through the software.
