SpecPicks Verdict
SpecPicks scored SKAPENDY VK81 Wireless Gaming Headset with Mic for PS5 using a rating × review-volume × price-fit model applied to published specs and reviews across the gaming peripherals category. SKAPENDY's gaming peripherals lineup sits within the broader category mid-tier; price and specs are the deciding factors over brand loyalty here. Judge it on the specification table and the price rather than on sentiment: check the figures that decide your use case, then put it side-by-side with two or three close alternatives in the Compare tool before clicking through.
Common buyer scenarios for gaming peripherals of this kind: matching it to an existing build, replacing a failing part, or upgrading from a previous-generation equivalent. Check the spec table below against your current setup — particularly socket / form-factor / power-rating fields — and confirm compatibility on the retailer's listing before purchase. Key Features
- 【50mm 3D Game Audio-Hear Every Move】The 50mm drivers and 3D surround sound bring more depth and direction to your gameplay. Hear footsteps, reloads, team voices, explosions, and in-game details with clearer placement, so you can react faster and stay focused. Whether you play shooters, racing games, open-world titles, or story games, the Skapendy VK81 gaming headset creates a more immersive audio experience.
- 【ENC Clear Chat-Make Every Callout Heard】The built-in ENC noise cancelling microphone helps reduce background sounds from keyboards, fans, and room noise, so your voice stays clearer during team chat. This gaming headset with mic is designed for online games, party chat, PC gaming, console gaming, online meetings, and late-night voice communication when clear callouts matter.
- 【Game & Music Modes-One Button, Two Sound Styles】Switch between Game Mode and Music Mode to match what you are doing. Game Mode highlights footsteps, direction, gunshots, and in-game effects for more focused play, while Music Mode gives vocals and bass a smoother, more balanced sound for music, videos, calls, and daily listening. One headset moves easily from gaming battles to everyday entertainment.
- 【Stable 2.4GHz Connection-Quick Access to Games】Plug in the 2-in-1 USB & Type-C dongle and jump into the game with a stable 2.4GHz wireless connection. With ultra-low latency up to ≤20ms, this wireless gaming headset keeps game audio closer to the on-screen action, making it ideal for fast matches, team battles, FPS games, RPG adventures, and competitive play on PS5, PS4, PC, Mac, laptop, and Switch.Note: This headset is not compatible with Xbox consoles. Bluetooth mode is not compatible with PS4 or PS5. The 2-in-1 USB transmitter must be fully assembled and cannot be used separately.
- 【LED Gaming Glow-Long Battery for Day and Night】Turn on the cool LED lighting to add a dynamic gaming look to your setup. The 1200mAh battery supports up to 40 hours with RGB on or up to 50 hours with RGB off, giving you more time for gaming, music, and movies. A low-battery reminder helps you charge in time, while USB-C fast charging gets the wireless headset ready again in about 2.5 hours.
- 【Foldable Comfort-Soft Fit for Long Sessions】The foldable frame makes this PC gaming headset easy to store in a bag or place on your desk after use. A lightweight structure and soft, breathable ear cushions help reduce pressure around the head and ears, creating a comfortable fit for long gaming nights, movies, music, travel, and users who wear glasses.
