Manufacturer description

The Sega Saturn Black Console is a vintage gaming system manufactured in 1996 by SEGA. This home console features 3D audio technology and has a storage capacity of 32 MB. The package includes a 3D controller, cords, and 1 game, providing a nostalgic gaming experience for enthusiasts of retro video games. The sleek black color and iconic Sega Saturn model make it a desirable addition to any gaming collection. Please note that the memory card like most Saturns is finicky so you may need to just rely on board storage. I'll remove my CR3032 battery before shipping.

SpecPicks Verdict

SpecPicks scored Sega Saturn Black Console W 3D Controller using a rating × review-volume × price-fit model applied to published specs and reviews across the retro consoles category. Sega's retro consoles lineup sits within the broader category mid-tier; price and specs are the deciding factors over brand loyalty here. Judge it on the specification table and the price rather than on sentiment: check the figures that decide your use case, then put it side-by-side with two or three close alternatives in the Compare tool before clicking through.

Common buyer scenarios for retro consoles of this kind: matching it to an existing build, replacing a failing part, or upgrading from a previous-generation equivalent. Check the spec table below against your current setup — particularly socket / form-factor / power-rating fields — and confirm compatibility on the retailer's listing before purchase. Prices and stock are set by the retailer and may have moved since this page was last updated.
