【Easy to Install】 To install, simply measure up from the base of the door jamb on one side, to desired height ( We suggest just above the deadbolt), mark and pre-Drill the pilot holes (with provided drill bit), then Install the Screws. Repeat on the other side. The thickness of the side of the bracket that goes between the door and the jamb is 1/16" thick, the same thickness as two credit cards (without raised letters). If you don't have the gap space, you may need to mortice or recess the bracket into the jamb, for door clearance.
