Pros & Cons

Pros

  • ✓ Slow-rising PU foam holds shape under the wrist instead of pushing back
  • ✓ Curved waist profile keeps the hand in a neutral mousing position
  • ✓ Mini size and low weight travel between home and office desks easily
  • ✓ Doubles as desk decor, so it reads as a gift as much as an accessory

Cons

  • ✗ Mini format supports the mouse hand only, not a full keyboard span
  • ✗ Panda styling will not suit every office or streaming setup
  • ✗ PU foam surface is not a wipe-clean material like gel or leatherette
  • ✗ Sold as a single pad, so a two-hand setup needs two orders

Manufacturer description

The Cityhermit Panda wrist rest trades the flat gel bar for a slow-rising PU foam animal that sits under your mouse hand. The pad uses a curved waist profile that cradles the wrist and keeps your hand in a neutral position, which is the posture that matters when you are eight hours into a spreadsheet or a raid. Cityhermit builds it from polyurethane foam with a soft-rebound response: press it and the shape returns slowly rather than snapping back, so the support stays where your wrist settles instead of pushing against it. Size is the deliberate tradeoff. This is a small, mini-format pad…

SpecPicks Verdict

SpecPicks scored Cityhermit Upgrade Ergonomic Memory Foam Wrist Rest Support using a rating × review-volume × price-fit model applied to published specs and reviews across the accessories category. Cityhermit's accessories lineup sits within the broader category mid-tier; price and specs are the deciding factors over brand loyalty here. Judge it on the specification table and the price rather than on sentiment: check the figures that decide your use case, then put it side-by-side with two or three close alternatives in the Compare tool before clicking through.

Common buyer scenarios for accessories of this kind: matching it to an existing build, replacing a failing part, or upgrading from a previous-generation equivalent. Check the spec table below against your current setup — particularly socket / form-factor / power-rating fields — and confirm compatibility on the retailer's listing before purchase. Prices and stock are set by the retailer and may have moved since this page was last updated.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this wrist rest big enough to use with a keyboard?

No. Cityhermit lists it as a small, mini-size wrist rest designed for the mouse hand. A keyboard needs a full-width pad; this one supports a single wrist.

What is it actually made of?

Polyurethane (PU) foam with a slow-rebound formula. Press it and it rises back gradually rather than snapping, which is what lets it conform to the wrist.

Do buyers actually like it?

Buyers generally like it, which is a strong reception for a novelty-shaped wrist pad rather than a dedicated ergonomic brand.

Will it help with wrist pain from long work or gaming sessions?

Cityhermit states the curved design keeps hands in a neutral position to help reduce fatigue from long mouse sessions. It is a comfort accessory, not a medical device, so treat persistent pain as a question for a clinician.

Does it come in designs other than the panda?

This listing is the Panda version. Check the Amazon product page for other animal options and for current price, stock, and warranty terms.
