Manufacturer description
The TV worked perfectly. I tested it with different games and everything worked fine. But after turning it off, a few seconds later it started making a noise as if it were trying to turn on without me pressing any buttons. I used it like that for a while, only unplugging it after I finished playing. It's probably nothing serious, since it's the only problem it has. When I'm playing games, it doesn't cause me any problems. Keep that in mind before buying it.no remote
SpecPicks Verdict
SpecPicks scored Sony 20” TRINITRON KV-VF21M40 TV Read the description using a rating × review-volume × price-fit model applied to published specs and reviews across the displays & upscalers category. Sony's displays & upscalers lineup sits within the broader category mid-tier; price and specs are the deciding factors over brand loyalty here. Judge it on the specification table and the price rather than on sentiment: check the figures that decide your use case, then put it side-by-side with two or three close alternatives in the Compare tool before clicking through.
Common buyer scenarios for displays & upscalers of this kind: matching it to an existing build, replacing a failing part, or upgrading from a previous-generation equivalent. Check the spec table below against your current setup — particularly socket / form-factor / power-rating fields — and confirm compatibility on the retailer's listing before purchase.
