Manufacturer description
Console ONLY. I connected this system with other cables I had and it fired up no problem... Some of the games required a try or two before the system could read it properly... This is very common and a good cleaning could solve that. The reset button does not function although it would be easy to take off the cover and jJust reset it properly...
SpecPicks Verdict
SpecPicks scored Sega Genesis MODEL 1. console Only TESTED and WORKS using a rating × review-volume × price-fit model applied to published specs and reviews across the retro consoles category. Sega's retro consoles lineup sits within the broader category mid-tier; price and specs are the deciding factors over brand loyalty here. Judge it on the specification table and the price rather than on sentiment: check the figures that decide your use case, then put it side-by-side with two or three close alternatives in the Compare tool before clicking through.
