Sony PSP-1000 White Console w/ Black Buttons Tested Working Firmware 6.39
Bottom line: The Sony PSP-1000 White Console is a specs-and-price decision rather than a crowd-consensus one in the retro consoles category. Check the specification table below against one or two close alternatives — on price and spec fit, not on star ratings.

Manufacturer description
Sony PSP handheld console in white with black buttons. Console has been tested and is working. Screen displays properly, buttons respond, and system boots normally. System software is version 6.39. Body is white, while the face buttons/d-pad are black, screen lens has some scratches but not serious enough to require changing it out, in my opinion. Console with battery and charger included. Stand, games, and memory card are not included unless shown or specifically stated.
SpecPicks Verdict
SpecPicks scored Sony PSP-1000 White Console using a rating × review-volume × price-fit model applied to published specs and reviews across the retro consoles category. Sony's retro consoles lineup sits within the broader category mid-tier; price and specs are the deciding factors over brand loyalty here. Judge it on the specification table and the price rather than on sentiment: check the figures that decide your use case, then put it side-by-side with two or three close alternatives in the Compare tool before clicking through.
Common buyer scenarios for retro consoles of this kind: matching it to an existing build, replacing a failing part, or upgrading from a previous-generation equivalent. Check the spec table below against your current setup — particularly socket / form-factor / power-rating fields — and confirm compatibility on the retailer's listing before purchase. Prices and stock are set by the retailer and may have moved since this page was last updated.
