Manufacturer description
The UGREEN Cat 8 Ethernet Cable 2-pack gives you two 6-foot braided cables for wiring a gaming PC, PS5, Xbox, modem or router straight into your network. Each cable is rated for up to 40Gbps and 2000MHz bandwidth. That is far more headroom than home connections use today, so the cable is unlikely to be what slows your setup down. Inside, four foil-shielded twisted pairs (F/FTP) and an aluminum foil layer reduce crosstalk between pairs and interference from nearby cables. That helps when your cable shares a desk or TV stand with power bricks and other wiring. The 26AWG conductors sit inside a…

Frequently Asked Questions
Will this Cat 8 cable make my PS5 or Xbox faster online?
A wired connection is usually more stable than Wi-Fi, but your speed is still limited by the console's Ethernet port and your internet plan. The cable's 40Gbps and 2000MHz rating means it won't slow you down, but it can't go faster than your console, router or ISP.
Will a Cat 8 cable work with my Cat6 router or older modem?
Yes. It uses standard RJ45 connectors and works with Cat7, Cat6e, Cat6, Cat5e and Cat5 equipment. It also works with network switches, adapters and hubs.
Does the UGREEN Cat 8 cable support PoE cameras?
Yes. According to the listing, all lengths support Power over Ethernet, so a PoE camera can get power through the cable without a separate power supply. Your switch or injector still needs to provide PoE power.
How durable is the braided jacket?
The cable has 26AWG conductors inside a cotton braided jacket. UGREEN says it survived at least 10,000 bends without breaking in testing. Four foil-shielded twisted pairs plus an aluminum foil layer protect the signal from interference.
