Manufacturer description
VINTAGE GAMING SONY TRINITRON KV-1214 UHF VHF 12” COLOR TV WOOD CASE 1976 WORKS! The TV has a couple of flaws. 1) The “PICTURE” knob is broken off. The remaining piece inside still rotates left and right when engaging it with a tool. 2) The UHF knob is seized up and the light does not power on in the UHF number box when the Auto/Aft knob is engaged. Based on what I read about these old televisions, for the ways these are used in modern times, it serves no purpose anyway. 3) The glass screen shows some scuffing. Most notably on the lower left portion.
SpecPicks Verdict
SpecPicks scored VINTAGE GAMING SONY TRINITRON KV-1214 UHF VHF 12” COLOR TV WOOD CASE… using a rating × review-volume × price-fit model applied to published specs and reviews across the display & crt accessories category. Sony's display & crt accessories lineup sits within the broader category mid-tier; price and specs are the deciding factors over brand loyalty here. Judge it on the specification table and the price rather than on sentiment: check the figures that decide your use case, then put it side-by-side with two or three close alternatives in the Compare tool before clicking through.
Common buyer scenarios for display & crt accessories of this kind: matching it to an existing build, replacing a failing part, or upgrading from a previous-generation equivalent. Check the spec table below against your current setup — particularly socket / form-factor / power-rating fields — and confirm compatibility on the retailer's listing before purchase. Prices and stock are set by the retailer and may have moved since this page was last updated.
