Manufacturer description
Console is tested and works great. Comes with PS1 console, OEM gray controller, memory card, AV cord and power cord. Everything is in decent condition. PS1 has some discoloration on the bottom half which can be seen in photos. There is a piece of debris that is in the console that rattles around when it’s shaken. No impact to function. Everything else looks great and functions well. Last photo shows the PS1 being able to read and play a game. Game disc is not included in lot and just used for testing If you have any questions or need additional photos, please let me know!
SpecPicks Verdict
SpecPicks scored Sony PlayStation 1 PS1 Console using a rating × review-volume × price-fit model applied to published specs and reviews across the retro consoles category. Sony's retro consoles lineup sits within the broader category mid-tier; price and specs are the deciding factors over brand loyalty here. Judge it on the specification table and the price rather than on sentiment: check the figures that decide your use case, then put it side-by-side with two or three close alternatives in the Compare tool before clicking through.
Common buyer scenarios for retro consoles of this kind: matching it to an existing build, replacing a failing part, or upgrading from a previous-generation equivalent. Check the spec table below against your current setup — particularly socket / form-factor / power-rating fields — and confirm compatibility on the retailer's listing before purchase. Prices and stock are set by the retailer and may have moved since this page was last updated.
