Yuaice Cat 8 Ethernet Cable 25FT

Bottom line: The Yuaice Cat 8 Ethernet Cable 25FT: 40Gbps / 2000MHz Cat 8 rating leaves headroom beyond today's 1G-10G home ports; main trade-off: most consoles and PCs top out at 1-2.5GbE, so the 40Gbps rating goes unused.

Pros & Cons

Pros

  • ✓ 40Gbps / 2000MHz Cat 8 rating leaves headroom beyond today's 1G-10G home ports
  • ✓ Flat 25ft design tucks under rugs, door gaps and baseboards without bulging
  • ✓ UV-resistant PVC jacket rated for outdoor and direct-burial runs
  • ✓ STP shielding plus gold-plated shielded RJ45 plugs reduce interference
  • ✓ Backward compatible with Cat7/Cat6a/Cat6/Cat5e/Cat5 gear and any RJ45 port

Cons

  • ✗ Most consoles and PCs top out at 1-2.5GbE, so the 40Gbps rating goes unused
  • ✗ 26AWG conductors are thinner than the 22-24AWG common in round Cat 8 cable
  • ✗ Flat cable is harder to route through keystone jacks and tight conduit bends
  • ✗ Factory-terminated 25ft length; can't be cut and re-terminated cleanly

Manufacturer description

The Yuaice Cat 8 Ethernet Cable gives you 25 feet of shielded, flat LAN cable rated for 40Gbps and 2000MHz bandwidth. It's long enough to run from a router to a PS5, Xbox, gaming PC, or smart TV in another part of the room. The flat profile is the practical draw. It lies flush under carpets, through door seams, and along baseboards, and you can coil it into small loops for storage without the kinks round cable gets. Inside are 26AWG oxygen-free copper conductors with STP shielding to cut down on interference from nearby power lines and electronics. The gold-plated shielded RJ45 plugs fit any…

SpecPicks Verdict

SpecPicks scored Yuaice Cat 8 Ethernet Cable 25FT using a rating × review-volume × price-fit model applied to published specs and reviews across the networking category. Yuaice's networking lineup sits within the broader category mid-tier; price and specs are the deciding factors over brand loyalty here. Judge it on the specification table and the price rather than on sentiment: check the figures that decide your use case, then put it side-by-side with two or three close alternatives in the Compare tool before clicking through.

Common buyer scenarios for networking of this kind: matching it to an existing build, replacing a failing part, or upgrading from a previous-generation equivalent. Check the spec table below against your current setup — particularly socket / form-factor / power-rating fields — and confirm compatibility on the retailer's listing before purchase. Frequently Asked Questions

Will this Cat 8 cable make my PS5 or Xbox faster online?

It gives the console a stable wired link that doesn't suffer Wi-Fi interference. Your speed is still limited by the console's Ethernet port and your internet plan, not the cable's 40Gbps rating.

Can I use this cable outside or bury it?

Yes, according to the listing. It has a UV-resistant PVC jacket rated for hot, cold, and humid weather and direct sunlight, and Yuaice says it can be buried directly in the ground for outdoor router or IP camera setups.

Does it work with my Cat6 or Cat5e router and switch?

Yes. The gold-plated RJ45 connectors are backward compatible with Cat7, Cat6a, Cat6, Cat5e, and Cat5 equipment. The link runs at the speed of the slowest device in the chain.

How long is the cable, and is it round or flat?

It is 25 feet long with a slim flat profile. That makes it easy to run under carpet, through door seams, or along walls, and you can coil it into small loops for storage.

What is the wire gauge and shielding?

It uses 26AWG oxygen-free pure copper conductors with STP (shielded twisted pair) construction and shielded RJ45 plugs to reduce signal interference.

Key Features

  • 40Gbps ultra-high speed and 2000MHz bandwidth deliver zero lag for online gaming (PS5/Xbox/PC) and seamless 4K/8K HD video streaming. The shielded STP design eliminates signal interference, ensuring your gaming and streaming experience is always smooth—perfect for serious gamers and movie lovers.
  • Slim flexible flat Cat8 cable avoids tangling like traditional round cables, making it easy to hide under carpets, door seams, or along walls. It can be curled into small loops for storage without taking up space, keeping your home/office neat and organized—solves the problem of messy cable management.
  • UV-resistant PVC jacket and 100% oxygen-free 26AWG pure copper core make this cable anti-aging, heat-resistant, and waterproof. It withstands extreme cold/hot/humid weather and direct sunlight, can even be buried directly in the ground—ideal for outdoor router/IP cam setup and indoor home/office use.
  • Gold-plated shielded RJ45 connectors ensure a stable connection, fully compatible with Cat7/Cat6a/Cat6/Cat5e/Cat5 cables. Works with all RJ45 port devices: Router, Modem, PS5/PS4, Xbox, PC/Laptop, Smart TV, IP Camera, NAS, Server, VoIP Phone—one cable for all your networking needs.
  • 26AWG thick copper core (thicker than 32AWG ordinary cables) ensures faster and more stable data transfer, no lag or disconnection. Perfect for AI smart devices (Amazon Alexa/Google Home/Apple Siri) and small/mid enterprise LANs, especially for data center switch-to-server interconnections—meets high-demand networking needs.
