Pros & Cons
Pros
- ✓ Bridge connectors link all three fans to the hub with one cable
- ✓ 5.22mmH2O static pressure is enough for radiator mounting, not just case intake
- ✓ 69.9 CFM and 2,400 RPM PWM ceiling give real headroom under load
- ✓ 18 LEDs per fan across dual inner and outer light loops
Cons
- ✗ Requires the iCUE LINK ecosystem, so no standard 4-pin motherboard fan control
- ✗ 2,400 RPM top speed will be audible at full tilt despite the bearing
- ✗ Lighting control depends on installing CORSAIR iCUE software
- ✗ 120mm only, so no 140mm option for larger case mounts in this SKU
Manufacturer description
The CORSAIR iCUE Link LX120 RGB triple pack solves the cable sprawl that comes with building an RGB loop. Each 120mm fan connects to the next through included iCUE LINK bridge connectors, so a bank of three fans reaches the included iCUE LINK System Hub over a single cable instead of six. Cooling performance is handled by PWM speeds up to 2,400 RPM, 69.9 CFM of airflow and 5.22mmH2O of static pressure, which is enough pressure to make these viable on radiators rather than case intake only. CORSAIR AirGuide anti-vortex vanes direct that airflow toward your hottest components instead of…
SpecPicks Verdict
SpecPicks scored CORSAIR iCUE Link LX120 RGB 120mm PWM Fans Triple Pack using a rating × review-volume × price-fit model applied to published specs and reviews across the cooling & fans category. Corsair's cooling & fans lineup sits within the broader category mid-tier; price and specs are the deciding factors over brand loyalty here. Judge it on the specification table and the price rather than on sentiment: check the figures that decide your use case, then put it side-by-side with two or three close alternatives in the Compare tool before clicking through.
Common buyer scenarios for cooling & fans of this kind: matching it to an existing build, replacing a failing part, or upgrading from a previous-generation equivalent. Check the spec table below against your current setup — particularly socket / form-factor / power-rating fields — and confirm compatibility on the retailer's listing before purchase. Frequently Asked Questions
Do these fans work on a radiator or just as case fans?
Both. The LX120 RGB is rated at 5.22mmH2O static pressure, which CORSAIR specifically calls out as the force needed for radiator mounting, alongside 69.9 CFM of airflow for case intake and exhaust.
Do I need to buy an iCUE LINK hub separately?
No. This triple pack includes the iCUE LINK System Hub. The three fans connect to each other with the included LINK bridge connectors and run back to the hub on a single cable.
How many RGB LEDs does each fan have?
18 LEDs per fan, split across an inner and an outer light loop. They can be synchronized with your other iCUE RGB devices.
How fast and how loud do they run?
PWM control scales speed up to 2,400 RPM. CORSAIR uses a Magnetic Dome bearing, a refinement of magnetic levitation, to reduce friction and minimize noise, though any fan at its 2,400 RPM ceiling will be audible.
Key Features
- Stunning RGB Lighting with Dual Light Loops: 18 LEDs per fan spread across an inner and outer loop enable brilliant, customisable lighting that can be synchronized with all your iCUE RGB devices
