Manufacturer description
The console is tested and works great however, there is a couple of oddities that I feel the need to mention. When turned on the power indicator light does not work. This doesn’t really impact anything. Also, when powering on the device, the power switch works every single time that I’ve tested it however it takes about one second from when you switch it To actually turn on. This can get a bit confusing if you are impatient and hit the button two or three times thinking that it did not work. Wear on the box and console as shown.
SpecPicks Verdict
SpecPicks scored Nintendo DS Lite Silver Handheld Console Bundle w/ Charger using a rating × review-volume × price-fit model applied to published specs and reviews across the retro consoles category. Nintendo's retro consoles lineup sits within the broader category mid-tier; price and specs are the deciding factors over brand loyalty here. Judge it on the specification table and the price rather than on sentiment: check the figures that decide your use case, then put it side-by-side with two or three close alternatives in the Compare tool before clicking through.
Common buyer scenarios for retro consoles of this kind: matching it to an existing build, replacing a failing part, or upgrading from a previous-generation equivalent.
