Manufacturer description
The console itself is sealed The power cable has the original baggie included The AV cable has styrofoam stuck to it, and does not include baggie The controller is not original to the package, and is used heavily. It is operational, and really just a throw in to make the package complete. The paper packet has a torn seal and the papers are bent and has creases. More so than what the picture shows The box shows some damage, with dents and punctures, but includes the original foam Please reach out if you would like more pictures
SpecPicks Verdict
SpecPicks scored Microsoft Original Xbox Launch USA Edition Console using a rating × review-volume × price-fit model applied to published specs and reviews across the retro consoles category. Microsoft's retro consoles lineup sits within the broader category mid-tier; price and specs are the deciding factors over brand loyalty here. Judge it on the specification table and the price rather than on sentiment: check the figures that decide your use case, then put it side-by-side with two or three close alternatives in the Compare tool before clicking through.
Common buyer scenarios for retro consoles of this kind: matching it to an existing build, replacing a failing part, or upgrading from a previous-generation equivalent. Check the spec table below against your current setup — particularly socket / form-factor / power-rating fields — and confirm compatibility on the retailer's listing before purchase. Prices and stock are set by the retailer and may have moved since this page was last updated.
