Manufacturer description
The WS Game Company Scrabble Deluxe Edition turns a familiar word game into a piece of furniture you leave out on the coffee table. The cabinet is built from solid wood with a rich mahogany finish, measuring 15.75 x 15.75 x 3 inches and weighing 6.5 pounds, so it holds its own as a centerpiece rather than something you hide in a closet. The board sits on a rotating turntable, letting every player read the grid straight-on without anyone leaning across the table, and a raised grid holds tiles in place while the board spins mid-turn. Underneath the playing surface, a hidden storage compartment…
SpecPicks Verdict
SpecPicks scored WS Game Company Scrabble Deluxe Edition Rotating Wooden Cabinet… using a rating × review-volume × price-fit model applied to published specs and reviews across the tabletop & card games category. WS Game Company's tabletop & card games lineup sits within the broader category mid-tier; price and specs are the deciding factors over brand loyalty here. Judge it on the specification table and the price rather than on sentiment: check the figures that decide your use case, then put it side-by-side with two or three close alternatives in the Compare tool before clicking through.
Common buyer scenarios for tabletop & card games of this kind: matching it to an existing build, replacing a failing part, or upgrading from a previous-generation equivalent. Frequently Asked Questions
How big is the Scrabble Deluxe cabinet?
The cabinet measures 15.75 x 15.75 x 3 inches and weighs 6.5 pounds. All components store inside it, so that footprint is what you need on a shelf or table.
Does the board actually rotate?
Yes. The game board sits on a rotating turntable so each player can view it head-on. A raised grid on the foil-stamped board keeps tiles from sliding during rotation.
What comes in the box?
You get 100 solid wood letter tiles, 4 matching mahogany-finish racks, an embroidered fabric drawstring pouch, a hardcover scorebook with pencil, and a sand timer.
Where do the tiles go between games?
A hidden storage compartment under the board holds the tiles, racks, and accessories inside the cabinet, so nothing needs a separate box.
Is this worth it over a standard Scrabble set?
The draw is solid wood construction, the rotating cabinet, and built-in storage rather than new rules, so it suits frequent players and gift buyers.
