Frequently Asked Questions
Does the G2000 work with a PS5 and an Xbox Series X?
Yes. VersionTECH. lists PS5, PS4, PS4 Pro/Slim, Xbox Series S/X, and Xbox One S/X controllers as supported over the 3.5mm connection. Older original Xbox One controllers require an extra adapter.
Do I need the USB cable to hear audio?
No. The USB connector only supplies power to the LED lights on the earcups. Audio and mic run entirely over the 3.5mm plug, so you can leave USB unplugged on a console.

Yes. A mute button and a volume control are housed inline on the braided cable, so you can cut the mic or adjust level mid-match without touching software settings.
Is the headset comfortable for long sessions?
VersionTECH. uses a retractable padded headband and thick synthetic leather-wrapped earcups sized for all-night play. The broad owner satisfaction reflects the value proposition of the headset.
Does it need drivers or software to set up?
No. The G2000 is plug and play with no setup or installation required. Connect the 3.5mm plug to your controller, PC, or phone and it works immediately.
