Manufacturer description
The XXONE Outdoor Cat 7 Ethernet Cable runs 100 feet of 26AWG shielded copper from your router to a shop, garage, camera mast, or detached office without a conduit run in between. It is rated for 10Gbps transmission at 600MHz bandwidth, so a single drop carries 4K surveillance streams, NAS transfers, and low-latency gaming traffic on the same line. The triple-shielded SFTP jacket wraps oxygen-free bare copper conductors, cutting the crosstalk and EMI that turn long outdoor runs into flaky links, and the UV-resistant PVC is rated for direct burial as well as indoor use. SpecPicks Verdict
SpecPicks scored XXONE Outdoor Cat 7 Ethernet Cable 100ft using a rating × review-volume × price-fit model applied to published specs and reviews across the networking category. XXONE's networking lineup sits within the broader category mid-tier; price and specs are the deciding factors over brand loyalty here. Judge it on the specification table and the price rather than on sentiment: check the figures that decide your use case, then put it side-by-side with two or three close alternatives in the Compare tool before clicking through.
Common buyer scenarios for networking of this kind: matching it to an existing build, replacing a failing part, or upgrading from a previous-generation equivalent. Frequently Asked Questions
Can this Cat 7 cable be buried directly in the ground?
Yes. XXONE rates this cable for direct burial: the UV-resistant PVC jacket is waterproof and approved for both outdoor and indoor installation, so it can be trenched without conduit.
How fast is this cable, and what bandwidth does it support?
It transmits up to 10Gbps and supports bandwidth up to 600MHz. It also handles 1000BASE-T, 100BASE-T, and 10BASE-T, and meets or exceeds Category 6 performance under the TIA/EIA 568-C.2 standard.
Will it work with my existing Cat6 router and switch?
Yes. It is backward compatible with Cat5, Cat5e, Cat6, and Cat6A equipment, including modems, routers, switches, hubs, patch panels, NAS units, printers, VoIP phones, PS4, PS3, and Xbox consoles.
Is the wire real copper or copper-clad aluminum?
It uses high-purity oxygen-free bare copper conductors in a triple-shielded SFTP construction, which is what limits crosstalk and signal degradation across the full 100-foot length.
How long is it and what comes in the box?
The package contains one 100ft black Cat 7 LAN cable with a molded RJ45 connector on each end. XXONE also states it provides lifetime free customer service.
