Manufacturer description

The 50mm drivers deliver directional stereo surround audio, so footsteps and gunfire register with enough separation to place opponents during a match. Communication runs through an omnidirectional noise-isolating microphone that filters ambient room noise so your squad hears you and not your keyboard. Comfort comes from breathable protein over-ear pads, a flexible headband with thickened padding, and a lightweight frame designed to fit different head shapes across long sessions. The single 3.5mm jack plugs directly into PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S/X controllers, Switch, laptops…

SpecPicks Verdict

SpecPicks scored ZIUMIER Gaming Headset for PC using a rating × review-volume × price-fit model applied to published specs and reviews across the gaming peripherals category. ZIUMIER's gaming peripherals lineup sits within the broader category mid-tier; price and specs are the deciding factors over brand loyalty here. Judge it on the specification table and the price rather than on sentiment: check the figures that decide your use case, then put it side-by-side with two or three close alternatives in the Compare tool before clicking through.

Common buyer scenarios for gaming peripherals of this kind: matching it to an existing build, replacing a failing part, or upgrading from a previous-generation equivalent. Check the spec table below against your current setup — particularly socket / form-factor / power-rating fields — and confirm compatibility on the retailer's listing before purchase. Frequently Asked Questions

Does this headset work with PS5 and Xbox Series X?

Yes. The 3.5mm jack plugs into the PS5 DualSense and Xbox Series S/X controllers directly. Older Xbox One 1537 controllers need an adapter, which is not included.

Is the microphone good enough for Discord and party chat?

It uses an omnidirectional microphone with noise-isolation tech to reduce ambient noise, and an in-line mute switch. It is a boom-style chat mic, not a streaming or recording microphone.

Do I need the USB cable to hear audio?

No. The USB connection powers the LED lighting only. Audio and mic both run over the single 3.5mm plug, so you can leave USB unplugged on consoles.

Is this a true surround sound headset?

No. It is a stereo headset with 50mm drivers tuned for directional cues. There is no hardware 7.1 decoding, so positional accuracy comes from stereo imaging rather than multi-channel processing.

How well does it hold up for long gaming sessions?

ZIUMIER uses breathable protein over-ear pads, a lightweight frame, and a flexible headband with thickened padding sized for different head shapes. The 5ft braided cable gives room to sit back from a desk or TV.
