Pros & Cons
Pros
- ✓ Stretchable 2-2.5 in plate clamps curved screens, not just thin flat laptop lids
- ✓ CRI above 98 across white, natural and warm modes keeps skin tones accurate on camera
- ✓ 64 LEDs at 10W is a lot of output for a 5-inch head in a lit home office
- ✓ USB powered from a laptop, wall plug or power bank, so no batteries die mid-call
- ✓ 7.1 oz with a 90-degree arm fold and 180-degree base fold for shoulder-bag transport
Cons
- ✗ Listing contradicts itself on brightness steps: 10 levels in one place, 30 in another
- ✗ Stand tops out at 8.5 in, so tall desktop monitors can sit above the light
- ✗ Tethered to a USB port, with no internal battery for untethered outdoor shooting
- ✗ No Kelvin range or lumen figure published, making cross-brand comparison guesswork
Manufacturer description
The Evershop clip-on ring light targets the wobble problem that sinks most laptop lights: a stretchable horizontal plate expands from 2 to 2.5 inches to grip straight or curved screens, while the stand body extends 6.5 to 8.5 inches to lift the 5-inch ring toward eye level. Sixty-four LEDs draw 10W across three color modes (white, natural, warm) with CRI above 98, so skin tones read accurately on a webcam instead of washing flat. Power arrives over USB from your laptop, a wall charger, or a power bank, so there are no batteries to swap halfway through a Zoom call. At 7.1 ounces, with an arm…
