Manufacturer description
OG Xbox with a custom dashboard/built in cheat codes. I’m pretty sure it’s a 250 gig hard drive installed. Modded years ago. The disc drive does not read discs from the last time I tried. Cords and a 3rd party controller included. Great console to fix up/repair the disc drive. There are no emulators loaded onto this, I don’t know much about modded Xboxes all I know is the dashboard and some mods/cheat codes for popular games I don’t know much about the OG Xbox/modded market, so I can’t provide much more info on the mod or dashboard, feel free to shoot me an offer
SpecPicks Verdict
SpecPicks scored Microsoft Original Xbox With Cables And Controller using a rating × review-volume × price-fit model applied to published specs and reviews across the retro consoles category. Microsoft's retro consoles lineup sits within the broader category mid-tier; price and specs are the deciding factors over brand loyalty here. Judge it on the specification table and the price rather than on sentiment: check the figures that decide your use case, then put it side-by-side with two or three close alternatives in the Compare tool before clicking through.
Common buyer scenarios for retro consoles of this kind: matching it to an existing build, replacing a failing part, or upgrading from a previous-generation equivalent. Check the spec table below against your current setup — particularly socket / form-factor / power-rating fields — and confirm compatibility on the retailer's listing before purchase. Prices and stock are set by the retailer and may have moved since this page was last updated.
