Manufacturer description

The RESPAWN 800 Console Rocker Gaming Chair is built for players who game from a couch-height setup rather than a desk. Instead of casters, RESPAWN mounts the bonded leather seat on an upholstered pedestal base with a heavy-duty metal frame, giving you 360-degree swivel and tension-adjustable rocking without rolling across the floor. The frame supports up to 275 lbs, so it stays planted through long console sessions. Lumbar support and adjustable arms handle the ergonomics. The arms flip up entirely, which lets you drop from a reclined controller position into a closer, desk-style posture…

SpecPicks Verdict

SpecPicks scored RESPAWN 800 Console Rocker Gaming Chair using a rating × review-volume × price-fit model applied to published specs and reviews across the home & kitchen category. RESPAWN's home & kitchen lineup sits within the broader category mid-tier; price and specs are the deciding factors over brand loyalty here. Judge it on the specification table and the price rather than on sentiment: check the figures that decide your use case, then put it side-by-side with two or three close alternatives in the Compare tool before clicking through.

Common buyer scenarios for home & kitchen of this kind: matching it to an existing build, replacing a failing part, or upgrading from a previous-generation equivalent. Check the spec table below against your current setup — particularly socket / form-factor / power-rating fields — and confirm compatibility on the retailer's listing before purchase. Frequently Asked Questions

Does the RESPAWN 800 work at a regular desk?

Not well. It is a floor-level rocker on a pedestal base with no wheels and no height adjustment, designed for couch-height console play. The flip-up arms let you pull closer to a coffee table or low desk, but it is not a replacement for a standard office chair.

What is the weight capacity?

RESPAWN rates the 800 at up to 275 lbs. The frame is heavy-duty metal with an upholstered pedestal base built to stay stable at that load.

Is there a warranty?

Yes, RESPAWN backs the 800 with a 5-year warranty. Check the current product listing for exact coverage terms and claim process, since warranty details can change.

What material is the chair covered in?

Bonded leather. It looks and feels close to leather at a lower cost, but bonded leather typically shows surface wear and peeling earlier than genuine or PU leather, especially in high-contact spots like the seat edge and armrests.
