Pros & Cons

Pros

  • ✓ Bowens mount fits Light Dome SE, Dome Mini II, Lightbox 4545 and Lantern modifiers
  • ✓ 33,300 lux at 1m from a 60W point source, bright enough to punch through diffusion
  • ✓ SSI 87+ at D56 and 90+ tungsten for accurate skin tones on camera
  • ✓ 695g and just over 4x4x4 in, so it packs alongside a mirrorless body
  • ✓ Runs on AC, D-Tap, or the included dual NP-F battery plate for location work

Cons

  • ✗ Bi-color 2,700K-6,500K only, so no RGB or gel-free color effects
  • ✗ Modifier load capped at 2.5kg, ruling out heavier parabolics
  • ✗ D-Tap power cable is sold separately despite the D-Tap compatibility claim
  • ✗ 60W output limits it to close-range key work in bright ambient light
