Manufacturer description
The Kate 6ftx9ft green screen backdrop gives you a solid green chroma key surface so you can remove and replace backgrounds in photos and video. At 6 by 9 feet, the fabric is large enough to sit behind a seated streamer, an interview subject, or a tabletop product setup. Its vibrant, even green is made to key out cleanly in editing or live compositing software. The backdrop hangs by a sewn rod pocket that slides onto most standard backdrop stands. The stand is not included. The package contains only the backdrop, so you will need to buy a stand or crossbar separately if you don't already own…
SpecPicks Verdict
SpecPicks scored Kate 6ftx9ft Green Screen Photography Backdrop Solid Green Photo… using a rating × review-volume × price-fit model applied to published specs and reviews across the streaming gear category. Kate's streaming gear lineup sits within the broader category mid-tier; price and specs are the deciding factors over brand loyalty here. Judge it on the specification table and the price rather than on sentiment: check the figures that decide your use case, then put it side-by-side with two or three close alternatives in the Compare tool before clicking through.
Common buyer scenarios for streaming gear of this kind: matching it to an existing build, replacing a failing part, or upgrading from a previous-generation equivalent. Frequently Asked Questions
Does the Kate green screen come with a stand?
No. The package includes only the 6ft x 9ft green backdrop. You need a separate backdrop stand or crossbar to hang it.
Will this backdrop fit my existing backdrop stand?
It has a rod pocket that fits most standard backdrop stands. Check that your crossbar can pass through the pocket and spans the backdrop's 6 ft or 9 ft side, depending on how you plan to hang it.
Can I wash the green screen if it gets dirty?
Yes. Kate lists the fabric as machine washable, so you can clean off dust and marks that might cause uneven keying. Check the product listing for specific washing temperature or drying guidance.
Is a 6x9 ft green screen big enough for my setup?
At 6 by 9 feet it covers a seated streamer, a desk or webcam setup, an interview, or a tabletop product shot. For full-body shots or groups, you may need a larger backdrop or to keep subjects close to the center of the frame.
How do I get the fold creases out before filming?
The fabric is wrinkle-resistant and made to be smoothed out after being folded for storage. Hanging it taut on the rod pocket helps, and an even, flat surface keys more cleanly in chroma key software.
