- ✓ SFTP shielding on all 4 pairs cuts EMI, RFI and crosstalk
- ✓ Flat jacket hides under carpet, along baseboards and door frames
Cons
- ✗ 10 ft may be short for router-to-office runs across a house

- ✗ Solid bare copper conductors resist repeated coiling and reuse
Manufacturer description
Each Cat8 cable is rated for 40Gbps throughput at 2000MHz bandwidth, so your router, switch, NAS, and gaming console are never the bottleneck when you upgrade to multi-gig internet. Construction is four shielded foiled twisted pairs (SFTP) of solid bare copper with gold-plated contact pins, which is what suppresses the EMI, RFI, and crosstalk that degrade long runs near power lines and appliances. The flat profile is the practical win here: you can tuck these under carpet, along baseboards, around door frames, and behind furniture without the coiling and tangling of round cable. BUSOHE rates…
SpecPicks Verdict
SpecPicks scored BUSOHE Cat 8 Ethernet Cable 10 FT 5 Pack using a rating × review-volume × price-fit model applied to published specs and reviews across the networking category. BUSOHE's networking lineup sits within the broader category mid-tier; price and specs are the deciding factors over brand loyalty here. Judge it on the specification table and the price rather than on sentiment: check the figures that decide your use case, then put it side-by-side with two or three close alternatives in the Compare tool before clicking through.
Common buyer scenarios for networking of this kind: matching it to an existing build, replacing a failing part, or upgrading from a previous-generation equivalent. Check the spec table below against your current setup — particularly socket / form-factor / power-rating fields — and confirm compatibility on the retailer's listing before purchase. Prices and stock are set by the retailer and may have moved since this page was last updated.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is Cat8 worth it if my internet is only 1 gigabit?
Your speed will be capped by your gear, not the cable. The 40Gbps and 2000MHz ratings are headroom for a later multi-gig switch or NAS upgrade, and Cat8 is backward compatible with Cat5, Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6a, and Cat7 equipment.
How many cables come in the pack and how long are they?
Five cables, each 10 feet long. All five are the same length, so plan your runs before ordering.
Can I run these under carpet or through a wall?
Yes. The flat design is built to run along carpet, floors, edges, corners, and door frames, and the listing rates it for in-wall, indoor, and outdoor use. Check your local electrical code for in-wall jacket requirements.
Will the flat cable break where it bends?
BUSOHE states the nylon braided jacket passed testing at 10,000 bends without breaking. Avoid sharp creases at connectors, which is where any patch cable fails first.
What devices will these connect to?
Anything with an RJ45 port: routers, modems, switches, computer servers, laptops, desktop PCs, printers, network adapters, smart TVs, and gaming consoles.
Key Features
- 40Gbps 2000Mhz Ethernet Cable : 10FT 5-Pack CAT8 shielded ethernet cable supports up to 40 Gigabit per second data transmission speed and 2000MHz bandwidth, connect to LAN/WAN segments and networking gear at maximum speeds
- Premium Material Construction : Our Cat8 network cable is constructed with 4 shielded foiled twisted pairs (FTP) of solid bare copper and gold-plated contact pins, making the Cat-8 cable greatly eliminate interference and crosstalk (EMI/RFI/AXT), and maintain durability and stable connection
- Flat and Braided : Cat8 internet cables are wrapped with premium braided jacket, which makes the flat Lan cable stronger and more sturdy. The test proves that this Cat-8 RJ45 cable can be bent at least 10000 times without broken. With flat design, the flat ethernet cable can hide or run along any surface, edges or corners, such as carpet, floor or door, etc, avoiding tangled and save space
- Wide Compatibility : Cat-8 ethernet cords provide universal connectivity for RJ45 Connector, such as computer server, router, modems, laptop, PC, printer, network adapters and other gaming systems. The Cat-8 patch cable is backward compatible with Cat5, Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6a, Cat7 ethernet cable
- Gigabit Ethernet Cable Get : Comes with braided Cat8 ethernet cable 10 feet 5Pack. BUSOHE has a stricter production process and better craftsmanship to produce better Cat8 network cords
