Manufacturer description

The AIIONP 50 PCS Secured Plastic Plant Clip set gives you 50 reusable trellis clips for staking climbing vegetables and vines without tying twine or cutting into stems. Each plant support clip is molded from PP plastic and measures 2.76 inches (7 cm) unfolded, with a 0.98-inch (25 mm) center diameter when folded, so it wraps a tomato stem or grape cane against a stake or hanging wire while still holding loosely enough for the vine to thicken as it grows. The hollow carved body keeps air moving at the contact point instead of trapping moisture against the stem. The buckle latch closes with…

Frequently Asked Questions

How many clips are in the pack and what size are they?

Fifty clips in green. Each clip measures 2.76 inches (7 cm) long unfolded and 0.98 inches (25 mm) across the center when folded shut.

How thick a stem or vine will these clips hold?

The folded center diameter is 0.98 inches (25 mm), so they suit vines and stems up to roughly that thickness. Mature woody trunks and thick canes will be too large for the buckle to close around.

Will the clips damage vines as the plants grow?

AIIONP designs them to hold loosely rather than cinch, so the vine is not cut as it thickens, and the hollow carved body lets air circulate at the contact point instead of sealing moisture against the stem.

Are these clips reusable, and which plants are they for?

The buckle opens and closes by hand, so you can detach and store clips at harvest. AIIONP lists them for tomatoes, peppers, watermelons, and grape vines, plus grafting, tying vines, and hanging on trellis wire.
