Super Nintendo SNES (console only)
Bottom line: The Super Nintendo SNES is a specs-and-price decision rather than a crowd-consensus one in the retro consoles category. Check the specification table below against one or two close alternatives — on price and spec fit, not on star ratings.

Manufacturer description
Super Nintendo is in working order with a small graphical glitch that appears to only show on a title screen, as shown in mario all stars picture on left side of screen. During the actual game it appears to go away. My best guess is a ppu1 or 2 chip, which i don't have any on hand to test with. Aside from that it works perfect. Console has a small chip in front left also shown. Fuse, voltage regulator, and capacitors have been replaced. System was opened and cleaned. It has a few scuffs and shows normal wear for an older console. The auction is for console only.
SpecPicks Verdict
SpecPicks scored Super Nintendo SNES using a rating × review-volume × price-fit model applied to published specs and reviews across the retro consoles category. Nintendo's retro consoles lineup sits within the broader category mid-tier; price and specs are the deciding factors over brand loyalty here. Judge it on the specification table and the price rather than on sentiment: check the figures that decide your use case, then put it side-by-side with two or three close alternatives in the Compare tool before clicking through.
Common buyer scenarios for retro consoles of this kind: matching it to an existing build, replacing a failing part, or upgrading from a previous-generation equivalent. Check the spec table below against your current setup — particularly socket / form-factor / power-rating fields — and confirm compatibility on the retailer's listing before purchase. Prices and stock are set by the retailer and may have moved since this page was last updated.
