Manufacturer description

I’ve had this for 10 years and it works as shown I’ve played a few games. The blue controller is official and works, the green is knock off and isn’t great Box and system are in solid condition. The disc drive display is broke but will stay on. When there is no disc in system you have to hit the top and play with it to get it to open. It’s very old and the rubber is probably falling apart to open it. The system was bought modded so it has infinite storage. Pm for questions.

SpecPicks Verdict

SpecPicks scored Microsoft Original Xbox Console w/ Box using a rating × review-volume × price-fit model applied to published specs and reviews across the retro consoles category. Microsoft's retro consoles lineup sits within the broader category mid-tier; price and specs are the deciding factors over brand loyalty here. Judge it on the specification table and the price rather than on sentiment: check the figures that decide your use case, then put it side-by-side with two or three close alternatives in the Compare tool before clicking through.

Common buyer scenarios for retro consoles of this kind: matching it to an existing build, replacing a failing part, or upgrading from a previous-generation equivalent.
