Frequently Asked Questions
Is a Cat 8 cable worth it if my internet is only 1Gbps?
Not for WAN speed, since your plan caps it. The 40Gbps and 2000MHz rating pays off on local transfers between a PC, NAS, or multi-gig switch.

Yes. Ximhun lists PS3, PS4, and Xbox as compatible, along with routers, modems, switches, PCs, and laptops via the standard RJ45 connector.
Can I run this cable outdoors?
Ximhun rates it for indoor and outdoor use, stating it keeps working under direct sunlight, extreme cold, humidity, and hot weather.
Does the 15FT version include the wall clips?
No. Ximhun includes 15 wall studs with the 20ft and 25ft lengths and 30 studs with the 30ft, 40ft, and 50ft lengths.
Is it backward compatible with my older Cat5e router?
Yes. It is compatible with Cat7, Cat6, and Cat5 equipment, so it runs at your existing gear's speed until you upgrade.
