Manufacturer description

The LCTKJTP LED strip lights give you 100 feet of RGB color, split into two 50ft rolls. That is enough to run around a bedroom ceiling, along a dorm loft, or behind a TV and desk setup without extra strips. Music mode uses a built-in microphone to shift color and rhythm with whatever is playing. You don't need a separate audio cable or a phone connection for it, so it suits parties, gaming sessions and background ambience. There are two ways to control the lights. The included infrared remote handles quick changes. The smartphone app gives you finer control over color, brightness, lighting…

SpecPicks Verdict

SpecPicks scored LCTKJTP LED Strip Lights using a rating × review-volume × price-fit model applied to published specs and reviews across the rgb & lighting category. LCTKJTP's rgb & lighting lineup sits within the broader category mid-tier; price and specs are the deciding factors over brand loyalty here. Judge it on the specification table and the price rather than on sentiment: check the figures that decide your use case, then put it side-by-side with two or three close alternatives in the Compare tool before clicking through.

Common buyer scenarios for rgb & lighting of this kind: matching it to an existing build, replacing a failing part, or upgrading from a previous-generation equivalent. Check the spec table below against your current setup — particularly socket / form-factor / power-rating fields — and confirm compatibility on the retailer's listing before purchase. Prices and stock are set by the retailer and may have moved since this page was last updated.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long are these LED strip lights and how many rolls come in the box?

The kit is 100ft total, supplied as two rolls of 50ft each, so you can run them in two separate areas or cover one large room.

Can I cut the LED strips to fit my room?

Yes. The strips can be cut along the marked cutting lines to fit any shape you need. The piece you cut off cannot be reused, so measure your run before cutting.

Can I use these LED lights outdoors or in a bathroom?

No. The strips are not waterproof and are meant for indoor use only. Install them on a clean, dry surface in rooms like bedrooms, dorms, or game rooms.

How does the music sync feature work?

The controller has a built-in microphone. In music mode it picks up sound in the room and changes the color and rhythm of the lights to match the beat.

Do I need the app, or can I use the remote only?

Either works. The infrared remote handles basic changes, while the smartphone app adds full control of color, brightness, lighting modes, and timer scheduling.
