Manufacturer description

The cablism Cat 8 Ethernet Cable gives you a 30 ft (10 m) wired link built for speeds beyond what Wi-Fi can match reliably. It is rated for data rates up to 40 Gbps and 2000 MHz of bandwidth, and it works with 10/100/1000 Mbps networks as well as 10G, 25G and 40G Ethernet. Shielding is where this cable earns its Cat 8 rating. It has an oxygen-free copper core, S/FTP shielding (each twisted pair is foiled, with an overall braid) and a tin-plated copper grounding line. Together they cut electromagnetic interference from nearby power cables, routers and PCs, which matters for competitive…

SpecPicks Verdict

SpecPicks scored cablism Cat 8 Ethernet Cable 30 FT using a rating × review-volume × price-fit model applied to published specs and reviews across the networking category. cablism's networking lineup sits within the broader category mid-tier; price and specs are the deciding factors over brand loyalty here. Judge it on the specification table and the price rather than on sentiment: check the figures that decide your use case, then put it side-by-side with two or three close alternatives in the Compare tool before clicking through.

Common buyer scenarios for networking of this kind: matching it to an existing build, replacing a failing part, or upgrading from a previous-generation equivalent. Check the spec table below against your current setup — particularly socket / form-factor / power-rating fields — and confirm compatibility on the retailer's listing before purchase. Frequently Asked Questions

Will this Cat 8 cable make my internet faster?

Only up to the limit of your internet plan and hardware. The cable supports up to 40 Gbps, but your speed will top out at whatever your ISP plan, router and device ports support. The biggest gains over Wi-Fi are lower latency and a more stable connection.

Does it work with my Cat 6 or Cat 5e router and devices?

Yes. It uses standard RJ45 connectors and is backward compatible with Cat 7, Cat 6, Cat 5e and Cat 5 equipment, including routers, switches, consoles, PCs and NAS units.

Is it good for gaming consoles and gaming PCs?

Yes. It is built for gaming, with S/FTP shielding and a tin-plated copper grounding line that reduce interference and keep the link stable. The 30 ft length also lets you run a wired connection to a gaming room away from the router.

How long is the cable, and does it lose speed over 30 feet?

It is 30 ft (10 m) long. The rated 40 Gbps speed and 2000 MHz bandwidth apply to the full cable, and the shielded, oxygen-free copper construction is designed to keep signal quality steady over that distance.

What warranty does the cablism Cat 8 cable come with?

The product details don't list warranty terms. Check the Amazon listing or contact cablism directly for current warranty and return coverage.
