Fikwot's ssds & storage lineup sits within the broader category mid-tier; price and specs are the deciding factors over brand loyalty here. Frequently Asked Questions

How fast is the Fikwot FX815 512GB SSD?

Fikwot rates it at up to 560MB/s sequential read and 490MB/s sequential write over SATA 3.0, which is at the top end of what the SATA interface allows.

Will this SSD fit my laptop?

It is a 2.5-inch drive with a 7mm z-height, so it fits ultrabooks, ultra-slim notebooks, and standard 2.5-inch laptop and desktop bays. Confirm your machine has a 2.5-inch SATA bay before ordering.

What warranty does the Fikwot FX815 come with?

Fikwot lists 3 years or 160 TBW (terabytes written) of product maintenance, whichever comes first, with technical support through the official Fikwot website.

Is the FX815 fast enough for gaming?

Yes for load times and general responsiveness. At up to 560MB/s it loads levels and cutscenes far faster than a hard drive, though an NVMe M.2 SSD would be quicker if your system has a free M.2 slot.

Is 512GB enough storage, or should I size up?

512GB suits an OS drive plus a handful of games or a work machine. The FX815 line runs from 256GB to 2TB, so step up if you install large modern titles that run 100GB or more each.
