Manufacturer description
This has been sitting in a closet since 2005. It was opened and never turned on or used. Pretty cool. The seal is obviously open, the box shows signs of sitting in a closet for for years. Hard to find, very hard to find. Will ship carefully and quickly. Good reputation and history of positive transactions! If you need more pics or evidence, I understand and can send you more! Feel free to make an offer, the last sealed like item sold for 890 in three days. This box is in bad condition and item is not sealed so I understand it’s worth less, make an offer that’s reasonable!
SpecPicks Verdict
SpecPicks scored Brand new Open box Sony PlayStation 2 Slim Black Console SCPH 70001 using a rating × review-volume × price-fit model applied to published specs and reviews across the retro consoles category. Sony's retro consoles lineup sits within the broader category mid-tier; price and specs are the deciding factors over brand loyalty here. Judge it on the specification table and the price rather than on sentiment: check the figures that decide your use case, then put it side-by-side with two or three close alternatives in the Compare tool before clicking through.
Common buyer scenarios for retro consoles of this kind: matching it to an existing build, replacing a failing part, or upgrading from a previous-generation equivalent.
