Raspberry Pi 4 Computer Model B 8GB Single Board… vs GeeekPi Starter Kit for Raspberry Pi 4 8GB… — Head-to-Head (2026)
Our verdict first, then the specs side by side.
Our verdict
GeeekPi Starter Kit for Raspberry Pi 4 8GB… is our pick.
For anyone who doesn't already own a Pi 4 power supply, case, and SD card, the GeeekPi 128GB starter kit is the better buy. It bundles the same 8GB Raspberry Pi 4 Model B with a PWM-fan case, a 5V/3.6A supply, a 128GB Class 10 card, and two 4K cables, for only a modest premium over the bare board. The bare board wins only if you already have the accessories. Otherwise the kit's premium pays for parts you'd throw in a drawer.
Buy the bare Raspberry Pi 4 Model B 8GB if you already own a 5V/3A-or-better USB-C supply, a case with active cooling, and a fast microSD or USB SSD. It is also the pick if you're building into a custom enclosure (DIN rail, arcade cab, robot chassis) where GeeekPi's ABS case is dead weight. Buy the GeeekPi Starter Kit if this is your first Pi, or if you're building an emulation box or 24/7 server that needs the 40mm PWM fan and four heatsinks to hold clocks. It also makes sense if you'd rather have the 128GB card and TÜV/RoHS-certified 18W supply included than source them separately.
