ASRock Radeon RX 9070 XT Taichi 16GB OC vs GIGABYTE Radeon RX 9060 XT Gaming OC 16G… — Head-to-Head (2026)

Our verdict

GIGABYTE Radeon RX 9060 XT Gaming OC 16G… is our pick.

For 4K gaming and ray tracing in 2026, the ASRock RX 9070 XT Taichi is the clear winner — its 64 RDNA 4 compute units, 3100 MHz boost clock, and 256-bit/20 Gbps memory bus put it a full performance tier above the RX 9060 XT, which is a 1440p-class card.

Buy the GIGABYTE RX 9060 XT Gaming OC if you game at 1080p/1440p, want the lowest power draw and price, and don't need maximum ray-tracing headroom. Buy the ASRock RX 9070 XT Taichi if you target 4K, want the highest factory overclock (3100 MHz boost) and 256-bit/20 Gbps bandwidth, and have an 800W PSU plus a 3-slot chassis to feed it.
